I have a love and passion for all things hockey, I always have. Ever since I was a little kid and laced up for the first time, the love for the game drove me to make it it my career…in more ways than one.
I played minor hockey in Cambridge and went on to play in senior leagues all over the country, in Kitchener, Waterloo, St Clements, Wellesley and Ayr Paris.
I currently still play with a tournament team which has played across Canada, America and in the Czech Republic.
I knew I wanted hockey to be in my life forever, even after my playing days were done. So I went to university for sports journalism, graduated and even won some awards for my work.
I started the Sports Xpress magazine and have written for Hockey Now, HBO Sports, and contributed to many other worldwide hockey sites.
Honest Hockey is my opportunity to give back and use my knowledge of the game to help others make the best choices possible so all they need to do is play.
